Sacred Skin Botanicals Shampoo Bars and Conditioning Bar Hair Care Range

Most shampoos are mostly water — and the bottle they come in is mostly plastic. Sacred Skin Botanicals shampoo bars are concentrated, waterless, and independently formulated to solve real hair problems: moisture loss, damaged and colour-treated hair, brassiness in blonde and grey, congested and irritated scalp, and thinning, brittle hair. Five specialist bars, each built around a specific problem and the proven ingredients that address it. One bar outlasts approximately three bottles of liquid shampoo — and leaves your hair in a condition no bottle could.

Sacred Skin Botanicals Hair Care Range is an independently formulated collection of solid shampoo bars and a conditioning bar developed in New Zealand. Each bar is built around a specific hair concern — moisture and curl definition, repair of damaged or colour-treated hair, tone correction for blonde and grey hair, scalp health and rebalancing, and strengthening thinning or brittle hair. Formulated with plant-derived cleansing actives, clinically studied ingredients, and pure essential oils at safe dermal limits. Sulfate-free. INCI compliant. Each bar is weighed at approximately 105g before curing to account for water loss, delivering a minimum of 90g of concentrated product.

How to Use Your Shampoo Bar:

A shampoo bar is not used the same way as a bottle. You do not need to rub the bar directly over your hair. Lather the bar between wet hands until you have a rich foam, then work that foam through your scalp and hair. A little goes a long way — one or two lathers is enough for most hair. Rinse thoroughly.

Store your bar on a draining tray or soap dish away from direct water. A bar that sits in a puddle will dissolve quickly. Kept dry between uses, one bar will outlast approximately three bottles of liquid shampoo.

Transition Period :

If you are switching from commercial liquid shampoo to a shampoo bar for the first time, your hair may take two to four weeks to adjust. Commercial shampoos often leave a silicone and residue buildup on the hair shaft that takes several washes to clear. During this period, your hair may feel different from what you expect. This is normal and temporary. Once the adjustment is complete, most people find their hair needs conditioning far less than it did before, because the bar is not stripping the natural oils that conditioner is trying to replace.

A Note on Honey (for customers checking vegan status):

Two bars in the range — the Scalp Therapy Ginger Shampoo Bar and the Rice Hydration Conditioning Bar — contain honey powder. Customers who follow a strictly vegan lifestyle should note this before purchasing.
